How do you cure a cold sore on your lip fast?

I have a cold sore on my lip that I want to get rid of.

What's a good home remedy to get rid of a cold sore fast?

Whenever I have a cold sore on my lip I always apply some baby Orajel to the cold sore.

The baby orajel helps to numb the pain from the cold sores so I can eat without pain and it also heals the cold sore overnight.
