I'm 35 years old and want to start saving for retirement which will hopefully be when I turn 65.
I want to have a nice savings saved up to retire on.
How much money should I be putting away each month?

You should be saving at least $500.00 a month if possible. Doing so would leave you with $60,000.00 in 10 years and in 30 years you'd have $180,000.00 saved up which should cover you living expenses for the rest of your life.
