You're not supposed to change a diaper after every pee.

Changing a diaper after every pee is unnecessary and wasteful as disposable diapers if you're using disposable diapers are made to absorb the pee and keep the pee away from the baby or toddlers skin.

Unless the diaper is actually overly wet and saturated, the child or toddler or baby will not feel the wetness, especially if you use good absorbent disposable diapers.

It's perfectly fine to allow the baby or toddler to wear the diaper until it has filled up with pee or has at least gotten near full.

If you changed a diaper after every pee you would spend much more money on diapers and would spend more of your time changing diapers and not be able to get anything else done

Also if your baby is of toddler age then they would likely resist having a diaper change every time they pee and you would also not always know when they peed every time.

With cloth diapers you need to change them more often than disposables but even with cloth diapers you don't need to change them after every pee.

With disposable diapers you often change then every 2 hours with young babies and 2 to 4 hours with older toddlers.

As the baby enters toddler age and they get older they often start to pee less often and usually pee at once and so it can take longer for the older toddler to fill a diaper up with pee and need changed.

With poop diapers you should always change it as soon as you notice, but even then you should wait at least 5 to 10 minutes to ensure that the toddler or baby has gotten actually done with pooping or they may poop on you in the middle of a diaper change.
