The Bible does not allow eating camel meat.
The Bible actually says to not eat camel or camel meat.
And both the books of Deuteronomy and Leviticus list the camel as being an unclean animal, and should not be eaten by the Israelites.
The reason for camels and camel meat to not be eaten is because the camel chews their cud but does not have any split hooves, and so the Bible specifies that to be considered clean and edible, an animal must have both for the characteristics.
Leviticus 11:4 specifically states, "Nevertheless among those that chew the cud or part the hoof, you shall not eat these: The Camel because it chews the cud but does not part the hoof, is unclean to you".
And Deuteronomy 14:7 reads, "Yet of those that chew the cud or have the hoof cloven you shall not eat these: the camel, the hare, and the rock badger, because they chew the cud but do not part the hoof, are unclean for you,".
