A bee panther is also known as a Red-footed Cannibalfly (Promachus rufipes), a large, aggressive predatory fly in the robber fly family.

Bee panthers are the red footed Cannibalfly is known for it's speed and it's a fly that also snatches other insects like wasps, bees and even grasshoppers out of the air and paralyzes the insects they snatch with a neurotoxic saliva before they consume their liquified insides, using a powerful proboscis.

While bee panthers are fearsome, they are not dangerous to humans as bee panthers lack a stinger and will only bite defensively.

Bee panthers are a species of robber fly that are known for their hunting abilities.

The scientific name for bee panthers is Promachus rufipes and they are also an opportunistic and cannibalistic generalist, which means that the bee panther eats a wide range and wide variety of different insects, including some of their own species.

The bee panther is an ambush predator that hunts by waiting in sunny and open areas for their prey to fly by them.

When the bee panthers prey flies by them, the bee panther then launches itself at the prey and catches the prey in mid air.

The bee panther then injects it's saliva that contains enzymes and neurotoxins into the prey to paralyze the prey and then digest the preys insides.

Then the bee panther sucks up the liquified contents of the prey.

Adult bee panthers have a yellow colored abdomen, with black dots, brown transparent wings and also a brown thorax.

Male bee panthers also have a black and rounded tip on their abdomen, while the female bee panthers have a pointed black ovipositor which can be mistaken for a stinger.

The bite of the bee panther is not venomous to humans although the saliva and digestive enzymes in the bee panthers saliva can be irritating and the bite will be painful.

However bee panthers cannot sting as they don't possess a stinger and they are not a threat to humans.
