Antibiotics will get rid of tooth pain but usually antibiotics will only be prescribed for a really severe tooth infection.
If your tooth is infected severe enough to need antibiotics you will likely need to have the tooth extracted by a dentist.
Try sucking on some ice to help relieve the tooth pain or gargle with some warm salt water.
