Can I use my spendwell card to pay bills?

You can use your spendwell card to pay bills like you would with other debit cards or you can use Spendwells bill pay feature in your spendwell account.

The bank that Spendwell uses is MetaBank or Pathward, National Association fka MetaBank who is also a member of FDIC.

You can overdraft your spendwell card as long as you've also enrolled in the ODP service and meet their eligibility requirements.

You can get cash back on spendwell card if permitted by the Merchant.

When making a purchase with your spendwell card simply ask the cashier for cash back and tell them the amount of cash back you would like to get.

Coming back to this topic after some time to confirm that you can pay bills with virtual cards, including Spendwell, but it depends on the payment processor used. If you’re in Nigeria or have bills there, a quick alternative is NOSH. I’ve used it for cable TV and electricity, and the payment was processed instantly. Plus, you also have the option to buy or sell gift cards and send money on the same platform.
