Italians make arrabbiata by heating oil in a large skillet, or saucepan over medium heat and then they add onions and garlic and then cook and stir it until softened, which takes around 5 minutes.

Then they stir in some diced tomatoes, wine, tomato paste, sugar, basil, lemon juice, red pepper flakes, Italian seasoning and black pepper and then they bring it to a boil.

After that they stir in parsley and simmer until done which takes around 25 to 30 minutes and be sure to stir it occasionally until it has thickened.

Arrabbiata sauce tastes like tomato sauce or spaghetti sauce but is also spicy and more flavorful and is made with garlic, tomatoes and red pepper flakes.

The name arrabbiata means angry in Italian, which refers to the fiery heat of the arrabbiata sauce.

The spiciness of arrabbiata sauce is balanced by the sweetness of the tomatoes and richness of the olive oil.

Arrabbiata sauce is a spicy sauce that is made with garlic, tomatoes, peperoncino, parsley and also extra virgin olive oil.

The arrabbiata sauce also originates from Italy in the Lazio region of Italy and most particularly from the city of Rome Italy.

Both marinara sauce and arrabbiata sauce are made using similar ingredients, such as garlic, tomatoes and fresh herbs.

Although marinara sauce is sweeter in flavor and arrabbiata sauce is much spicier than marinara sauce and contains red pepper flakes.

Arrabbiata goes well with al dente penne pasta.

Penne pasta is widely considered the best pasta for arrabbiata sauce as it's ridged shape holds onto the arrabbiata sauce really well.

You can also use arrabbiata sauce on any other pasta that you prefer to use it on.
