The breakfast that fills you up the longest is a higher in fat breakfast such as eating eggs and bacon or an egg and bacon sandwich with lots of bacon and eggs.

3 eggs scrambled with some cheese and onions or even eggs and sausage can also help fill you up the longest.

Even some oatmeal made with milk or water and topped with some nuts, seeds or fruit can help keep you full and even Greek Yogurt or even boiled or poached or scrambled eggs are all good and fulfilling breakfasts.

Also skipping your breakfast in the morning or simply relying on just coffee in the morning can also affect your metabolism negatively by increasing your cortisol levels and slow down energy conservation.

The best thing to eat for breakfast are eggs, oatmeal, oatmeal with berries, whole wheat toast with avocado, or Greek Yogurt with fruits and nuts.

Protein powder, fruits and leafy greens are also great breakfast food choices as they given you sustained energy and keep you feeling full longer.

Eggs, cottage cheese, nuts, Greek Yogurt, nut butters and lean meats are great breakfast protein sources.

The unhealthiest breakfast is sugary cereal as well as bacon, sausage and other processed meats or pastries which contain added sugars and refined carbohydrates.

Processed meats contain sodium and saturated fats and additives which can contribute to heart disease.
