Is it okay to leave Labrador dogs alone at home for 8 hours per day?

Your Labrador will be fine left alone for 8 hours. Just make sure the dog has plenty of water and food to eat while you're gone.

If you're gonna be gone longer than 8 hours then you should have someone come in and check on and feed your dog and take them out to potty and for a walk.
