Do you brush your dog before or after a bath?

Are you supposed to brush your dogs hair before a bath or after giving the dog a bath?

It's best to brush your dogs hair before giving them a bath since it gets rid of any shedding hair and will help get the shampoo further into the dogs hair giving them a more deep cleaning.
