One sure sign that a dog is getting near death and is about to die is lethargy or less movement and the dog will lack the normal energy it once had and will stay mostly in one place.

Other signs that a dog is dying and is near death are.

• Decreased Thirst.
• Incontinence.
• Restlessness.
• Pain.
• Labored Breathing.
• Changes in Gum Color
